Once You Hit 20….

I don’t mean 20 as in the age when I thought I knew it all (laughable now), I mean 20 as in the number of clients that have chosen to partner with us. For context, I was at a conference in Austin just a few months ago, and a (now) Fintech partner who had been at this very point once in his journey told me that “once you hit 20 clients, hang on tight, because that is when the ride begins”. Boy was he right. 20 now quickly has a path to 30 and so on and so on…. our partnerships are flourishing, our market presence is growing and we are winning against more mature competition. We are in the midst of one of the most evolutionary parts of our journey now as we are bringing more and more clients live, beginning to make more strategic hires and planning for phase 2 of what Neural Payments has to offer. Change is imminent for all of us, and that is a REALLY good thing.

Meet our 2022 Interns!

OH, the talent we have found! This year’s intern class that has joined us for a summertime journey is top notch. They each bring fresh views on what our experience needs to deliver and diverse and unique backgrounds that are incredibly important to our culture. Here’s a little bit about each of them…. First, meet Connor Egan. Connor is currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati, expected to graduate in the Fall Semester of 2022 and is Majoring in Marketing. Connor is helping out with the onboarding of FIs and client experience and also creating informative slide decks and journey maps of the Neural Payments onboarding process. Next up, meet Dajan Watkins. Dajan is currently a junior at Louisiana State University with a major in Marketing and is expected to graduate in the Spring Semester of 2024. Dajan has also been assisting with the onboarding of FIs alongside Connor and is helping to automate the reporting functions of the Neural Payments Admin Portal. Next, meet Anushka Pradeep! Anushka is currently a grad student at the University of Cincinnati, is expected to graduate in the Fall Semester of 2022, with her master’s degree in Information Technology. Anushka is working closely with our engineering team putting her IT education directly to work. Last but not least, meet Isaac Livingston. Isaac currently has a certificate from the Google Career Program in Data Analytics and is focusing on data hygiene and mapping so that our database operates smoothly, efficiently, and most of all, securely!

Webinars, Webinars, Webinars!

I really cannot say enough about how fortunate we are to have the awesome digital partnerships that we do. Each of them enables us to do what we do from within their platforms, but equally as important, they offer us the ability to tell our story to their bases of Banks and Credit Unions through webinars and podcasts. On April 27th, I hosted a webinar with an audience of several institutions using the Q2 Digital Banking platform, on May 11th we hosted a broad audience via a webinar we promoted through LinkedIn and on June 7th I had a really great group of Jack Henry Banno clients join me to take a look at our newly launched integration. Tyfone was up next on June 9th when I had the opportunity to present to the their client base and also recorded a really fun Podcast alongside their VP of Sales & Marketing, Josh Detar…. follow Tyfone on LinkedIn to catch our episode when it launches! https://www.linkedin.com/company/tyfone/. Coming up on July 20th I have partnered up with Leverage Payment Solutions and will be chatting it up with their Credit Union partners…. you can register via this link to be a part of the action and see a live demo! https://lscu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMpcO-hqz0oH9UQCa7x9w9xq2ODM0QNsiE7

In the News….

ICYMI…. we’ve been busy delivering thought leadership and evangelizing our partnerships! I had the honor to share some thoughts on “Breaking the Legacy Mindset” on Bankdirector.com….check out the article here: https://www.bankdirector.com/issues/growth/breaking-the-legacy-mindset/. Also in some REALLY big news, we issued a joint press release with Jack Henry announcing our collaboration and integration with the Banno platform! Click the link to access the PR! https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6945364418734039040. Keep an eye out for more great news to come, we have quite a bit up our sleeves!

Did Someone Say SOCII-Type 2?

Yep, we did, that was us. On April 28th, we received official confirmation that we are SOCII-Type 2 compliant! This was a massive accomplishment and a HUGE shoutout to our Director of Engineering & Compliance, David Patrick, for countless hours of work to land us this achievement… which was right on the heels of landing our PCI compliance certification! #vigilance #security #davidneedsavaca

The Next Chapter….

We are going to be hitting the road quite a bit in the coming months and really looking forward to continuing to connect and share our story! In August, we will be joining our partner MEA Financial at their annual conference in Vegas and then shortly after, heading down to Texas in September for the IBAT Annual Conference. Also in September, our team will be traveling to Vancouver for the AFT Fall Summit and then rounding out the year with Money 20/20 in Vegas in October. We are planning many more appearances at our partner events and can’t wait to continue to build our network!

Excited to also share a really cool collaboration with a fellow Fintech pioneer, LemonadeLXP. https://www.lemonadelxp.com/. In partnership with the Lemonade team, Neural is working to launch a digital learning platform focused on helping our clients deliver P2P education and training to cardholders and staff. We are really pumped about adding this to the education plan and looking forward to this partnership for many years to come! Go check them out!

I am really excited for our next newsletter as we are on the verge of being able to share several exciting pieces of information about our growth, our partnerships and accolades. Our vision has come to life, and we could not be prouder of what this team continues to accomplish. Stay tuned to your local NP News Station!

Until next time,

Mel
