What You Need to Know About This Change
What happens to my Zelle account after March 31?
If you’ve been using the standalone Zelle app, your account will no longer be able to send or receive money. You’ll need an alternative.
What will happen to my pending payments after March 31st?
If the recipient has not enrolled with Zelle, they will receive an email or text notification letting them know that a payment is on the way. The notification will guide them through a few simple steps to complete their enrollment. Recipients who aren't enrolled with Zelle will have until January 8th to do so. If they do not accept their payment within 14 days, the payment will expire, and the funds will be returned to your account.
Do I need to sign up for Neural Payments outside of my mobile banking app?
No. If Neural Payments is already in your mobile banking app, our payment functionality is already built in—just log in with your banking or credit union credentials and start sending money.
Can I still send money to people who used Zelle, but aren't members of my Credit Union?
Yes! With our payments feature, you can send money to anyone, even if they use a different bank or peer to peer payments app. Your recipient can choose to receive their funds through their bank account, debit card, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle (coming soon).
Is this service secure?
Yes. Our payments tool has fraud prevention built into every transaction and operates within your Credit Union's secure banking environment. Your money stays protected no matter where you're sending it.
